How Gluco's AI works

What it does

It recognizes the foods visible in your photo or description and, from the ingredients, the cooking method, the combination and the rough portion, estimates whether the likely glucose impact is low, medium or high.

What it doesn't do

It never predicts how many mg/dL your blood sugar will rise. Nobody can do that from a photo: the answer depends on your physiology, medication, sleep, activity and much more. Any app promising that number is misleading you.

It can be wrong

A hidden ingredient, a sauce you can't see or a portion that's hard to judge changes the result. That's why you can always add context and check it again.

Observations, not diagnoses

The patterns on your personal map are calculated from your own logs and always shown as observations with a confidence level, never as certainties.
